ESET Receives "Compatible with Windows 7" Logo from Microsoft

ESET, the leader in proactive threat protection, has obtained the "Compatible with Windows 7" logo. The Windows 7 logo program aims to help customers make better purchase decisions by identifying products via the "Compatible with Windows 7" logo that have passed Microsoft Corp.-designed tests for compatibility and reliability with Windows 7.

The products receiving certification are ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 and ESET Smart Security 4.
 

"The Windows 7 logo further underscores the universal appeal of ESET software," said Richard Marko, chief technology officer. "ESET products are well known for their superb detection, light footprint and ability to play nice with other programs."
In order to ensure full compatibility with Windows 7, ESET recommends that customers with releases prior to 4.0.474 download the installation packages for ESET Smart Security 4 and ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4, as well as ESET Remote Administrator 3 for business users. These updates are free for licensed users. After downloading these products, it is recommended they be installed over existing copies.

ESET Releases Service Build 4.2 for ESET Smart Security and ESET NOD32 Antivirus

We are pleased to inform you that Service Build 4.2 for both ESET Smart Security (ESS) and ESET NOD32 Antivirus (ENA) is now available.
ESET customers can upgrade to version 4.2 for free by downloading the latest installation package from the ESET website.
